Aktionen zur Unterstützung von Kids` Corner
Wie ich schon mal angedeutet habe organisieren wir unser Projekt in Ghana in totaler Eigenregie. Die Idee ist, dass alle Projektmittel von der Gruppe selbst erwirtschaftet werden. D. h. wir sollten verschiedene Aktionen wie Partys, Flohmärkte und andere Projekte durchführen. Außerdem müssen wir überlegen, welche Dinge wir zur Unterstützung des Projekts mit nach Ghana nehmen wollen. Ihr könnt eurer Phantasie freien Lauf lassen. Wir sollten auch überlegen, welche Art von Spielplatz wir bauen können. Liz hätte gerne so einen kleinen Kletterparcours oder ähnliches. Macht euch einfach Gedanken und publiziert alles was euch einfällt. Wir sollten zu dem Thema auch ein Arbeitstreffen abhalten. Am Ende wird hoffentlich ein guter Plan stehen...

wir haben unser Projektland sicher. Habe heute eine Mail von Liz bekommen und wir haben scheinbar das perfekte Areal. Hier Auszüge aus der Mail:
today we had the breakthrough. Madame Agbley is the District Co-ordinator for all the Hohoe Kindergartens and I got to know her a few months ago through a German couple who were doing Montessori Seminars in the area.
We were never going to be given land in the middle of town, which was my real wish, so I thought about the people who have land in the middle of Hohoe, but dont use it properly. The churches and the schools.... Today I went with Mrs. Agbley to the E.P. Primary School, just 200 meters from Kids' Corner and we were met with open arms by Miss Grace Dogbe, the headmistress. They have a maybe one and a half football pitch sized piece of land surrounded by school buildings. A lovely lady who is happy to let us do what we want for the benefit of the children of Hohoe.....
This afternoon we started the 'How would you envisage a sports/playing field' competition at the Centre!
We have to make a plan of what is feasible.
Can you imagine flattening enough land to make a proper football pitch, with grass and goal posts, and a basketball court and a playground for smallchildren?? I think we should do as much as possible in the available time and make it an ongoing project which can be finished when the funds/muscles are available.
